Timothy Hennessy - CEO & Chairman of the Board
Mr Hennessy joined the company in August 2003. He holds a Master of Science & Engineering, a B.Sc. Electrical Engineering and has completed various commerce and business school studies. He has held positions including Vice President of Engineering and Operations and Managing Director - LECTRIX LLC, Vice President of PacifiCorp's Energy Services, Quality of Supply Manager for ESKOM and was a founder and Principal of Power Quality Technology. Mr. Hennessy has had extensive experience assessing and developing new technologies, project management and product delivery, including the implementation of large-scale power quality solutions such superconductor energy storage, rotary and hybrid power-electronic systems. Mr. Hennessy has also published and presented over 20 international papers as well as editing of the Power Quality Blue Book (South Africa), a text for engineers in industry. He is a member of the board of Schmitt Industries (Nasdaq: SMIT)
Vincent Sorace - President, Director
Mr. Sorace joined the Board of VRB Power in November 2002 and assumed the role as President in April 2003. Prior to joining VRB Power, Mr. Sorace was active in the investment community and over the last 10 years has helped finance numerous public and private entities in Canada and the U.S., including several high tech companies. Mr. Sorace has extensive experience in strategic planning, corporate development and the capital markets. Mr. Sorace holds a Diploma in Management Systems from the B.C. Institute of Technology and multiple University courses in Business Administration.
Wayne Case - Director
Mr. Case holds a Master of Business degree and holds the position of President, Board Chairman, and CEO for Schmitt Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: SMIT). Mr. Case brings over 40 years of professional business and project management experience in sales, marketing, licensing, manufacturing, product design, project management and resort development management. He has developed and managed complicated product development plans and projects for worldwide corporations at various international locations.
Brian Mayberry - Director
Brian Mayberry (EurIng C.Eng BSc Hons FCIBSE, FConsE, MInstE) is the Managing Director of Wallace Whittle Ltd., (www.wallacewhittle.com) one of the largest private engineering consulting companies in the UK. In 1996, Brian led a management buy-out of Wallace Whittle from Northumbrian Water plc having been party to the original sale in 1992. Wallace Whittle have been re-established as one of the United Kingdom's leading specialist building services consulting engineers, currently employing around 100 engineering staff. Brian's business strategy has focused on obtaining and retaining blue chip framework and partnering relationships e.g. Wal-Mart, Hilton, British Telecom, together with a number of leading UK private developers and financial institutions. Brian's current focus is establishing increased presence in the PPP (Private Public Projects) market being heavily promoted by UK Government. Another area of specialist interest is in the increased market for large-scale infrastructure projects primarily associated with redevelopment of brown field land banks. An example of the latter would be a 30 megawatt infrastructure associated with the Greenwich Arsenal rehabilitation in East London. Brian has built up experience across all sectors of the construction market, is now most commonly involved as a multi-disciplinary team leader on projects ranging up to £100M.
